Melissa's Restaurant, Bar & Patio
Melissa’s is housed in Banff’s original Homestead Hotel, a 1928 log building with original lighting fixtures typical of rustic Canadian architecture a century ago. A local hot spot for over 30 years, this locally owned and operated restaurant has been voted “Favourite Banff Restaurant” for seven consecutive years by the Calgary Herald Reader’s Choice Awards. There is a homemade flavour to the made-from-scratch meals, many of which are comfort foods. The popular upstairs bar features 11 TVs (some satellite and big-screen), darts, pool table and pinball. Happy hour is 4 to 7 pm, but highballs and selected beers are always at everyday low prices.
