The Keg Steakhouse & Bar
Keg restaurants are popular throughout Western Canada for their contemporary flavours and friendly atmosphere. King of the menu are well-marbled steaks that are aged for quality, seasoned with a signature spice blend and grilled over an open flame to guest preference. The lodge-like wood décor, rock fireplaces, comfortable booths and bars with counter seats at both Banff Keg locations contribute to a warm and relaxed mood. The Caribou Lodge restaurant hosts à la carte and buffet breakfast 6:30 am to 11 am, lunch 11 am to 4 pm and Sunday buffet brunch from 11 am to 2 pm.
- Starters: shrimp baked with garlic, herbs, and Jack and cheddar cheeses; calamari with sweet teriyaki sauce; escargot stuffed mushroom caps; tempura snap peas and asparagus; shrimp cocktail; bacon-wrapped scallops; crab cakes with dill caper mayo
- Salads: Caesar, mixed, spinach or iceberg wedge; add chicken, top sirloin or black tiger shrimp
- Keg Classic Dinners: filet wrapped in applewood smoked bacon, slow roasted prime rib, New York striploin, and top sirloin naturally grilled or marinated in teriyaki sauce
- Keg Combinations: prime rib or top sirloin with choice of black tiger shrimp, Alaskan king crab legs or Atlantic lobster tail
- Sirloin or Chicken Oscar: topped with shrimp, scallops, asparagus and Béarnaise sauce
- Zesty Salmon: grilled fillet with sweet and mildly spicy sauce, and chili mayonnaise
- Creole Chicken: topped with shrimp and scallops
- Honey BBQ Chicken and Ribs
- Pecan Crusted Sirloin: with crumbled goat cheese
- Billy Miner Pie: mocha ice cream on chocolate crust with hot fudge, caramel and almonds
