Regal View Garden & Summit Restaurant
Located at the upper terminal of Banff Gondola sightseeing lift, these restaurants offer the best view in Banff. At an elevation of 2282 m (7486 ft) on Sulphur Mountain, guests marvel at the sweeping vista of Spray and Bow River Valley mountains, and the town of Banff. Adjacent the restaurants are indoor and outdoor observation decks, an interpretive boardwalk to historic Sanson Peak and a resident herd of bighorn sheep.
The Regal View Garden is a full service restaurant where lunch and dinner are served daily June to September. Alpine Lights prime rib dinner is offered Saturday evenings mid December through mid April—the $49 price includes the gondola ride.
One level down from the Regal View, the Summit Restaurant serves family fare in a self-serve, walk through style. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served year round.
